Job Summary:

Better Staff Recruitment is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our client's team in a dynamic and fast-paced warehouse environment. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of products within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate counterbalance and reach forklifts to load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient movement of products within the warehouse, adhering to all safety guidelines and company protocols.
  • Assist with inventory management, including stock counts and organization.
  • Deliver emergency deliveries to customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Clean and maintain the warehouse to a high standard.
  • Support all other warehouse functions as required.

Candidate Criteria:

  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance.
  • Physically fit and healthy for heavy lifting and manual handling.
  • Pro-active and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good customer-facing skills and ability to work with customers in a professional manner.
