Key Responsibilities- Service Charge Management: Manage a 6 million service charge budget, ensuring effective cost control and review of expenditure and accounts.
- Development Management: Oversee the delivery of effective service levels, representing the company towards customers, clients, and developers as appropriate.
- Team Leadership: Identify and deliver ongoing training needs to support the team, conduct frequent reviews with direct reports, and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and manage performance, setting guidelines, managing holiday/sickness absences, and organizing shift cover.
- Customer Service: Hold proactive customer/contractor and client meetings, ensuring issues are promptly administered and dealt with within agreed timeframes.
- Complaints Handling: Investigate and respond to complaints, collaborating with the Regional Manager in Stage 2 complaints responses.
- Health and Safety: Undertake required risk assessments, health and safety checks, and routine testing requirements, ensuring concerns are acted upon and completed within the given timeframe.
- Contractor Management: Support the monitoring and supervision of contractors, carrying out works on and around the development.
- Site Inspections: Carry out regular inspection audits of the site, taking/organizing remedial action if required, ensuring the fabric of the building is maintained and serviced to a high standard.
- Essential: Previous people manager experience (2 years minimum).
- Desirable: Budget and service charge accounting experience.
- 25 days annual leave.
