As an Electrical Testing Engineer, you will work closely with industry leaders to deliver comprehensive electrical testing, installation, and rapid response services to hazardous environments.

Initially, you will be supported through your CompEx 7&8 course. Following successful completion, you will operate within a regional patch with the potential for some stayaways. Your role will involve attending sites to perform Hazardous Area Inspections, PAT Testing, EICR Reports, and basic remedial tasks to the client\u2019s facility, focusing on health & safety and offering a brilliant service to the customer.

The ideal candidate will hold their 18th edition, 2391 Inspection & Testing certification, and an ECS Gold Card. A UKPIA certificate would be advantageous. Practical experience in TT Earthing or Fuelling Station and EV Charge Point installations is preferable. You must be competent in completing EIC and Minor Works certifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Hazardous Area Inspections
  • Produce EICR Reports to a high quality
  • Perform Testing and Inspection tasks on customer sites
  • Perform basic remedial works
Requirements:
  • 18th Edition Qualified
  • ECS Gold Card or related certification
  • 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent
  • Capacity to identify defects through test readings as well as experience in completing EICR reports
  • Proven health and safety training and record
  • Demonstrated ability to read and understand design and panel schematics is essential
