Purchase Ledger Assistant

At Cammell Laird, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance Team as a Purchase Ledger Assistant. This is a full-time, temporary 6-month contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently using P2P technology.
  • Ensure invoices are coded correctly and match purchase orders.
  • Track and follow up on invoice approvals from relevant departments.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or queries related to supplier invoices.
  • Regularly reconcile supplier statements to ensure all invoices and payments are accounted for.

Requirements:

  • AAT Level 2 or higher preferred.
  • Excellent Microsoft Skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Previous Purchase Ledger experience in a busy office environment.
  • Previous experience of Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Confident with working high volumes of data whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy.
