AV Installation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled AV Installation Engineer to join our team at KCP Ltd.

The selected candidate will work closely with our Smart Systems Manager and Design & Development team to deliver bespoke smart products and solutions to our customers.

As an AV Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation of our bespoke audio-visual systems on customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with assigned project managers and programmers to provide complete and fully functional integrated audio-visual system solutions.
  • Install our bespoke new systems and technology.
  • Inspect and test material and machinery for safety.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of onsite equipment.
  • Be part of the installation, testing, and commissioning of smart systems and automation solutions and resolve onsite malfunctions.
  • Provide technical support to customers and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Support Smart Systems Manager with documentation.
  • Support Smart Systems Manager with customer training.
  • Support Smart Systems Manager with site surveys and assessments when needed.
Requirements
  • Understanding of installing and commissioning assigned projects for Advanced Visual Systems and Television Network.
  • Hands-on experience in installing smart systems.
  • An understanding of systems integration techniques (Integration via IP protocols, Serial, ZigBee, or IR).
  • Understand audio DSP units, basic IP network, HDbaseT Technology.
  • Understanding of safety guidelines.
  • Happy to travel to customer sites and occasionally come to the office when needed, e.g. pick up equipment/tools.
  • Full Clean, Valid UK Driving License.
  • Right to Work in the UK.
