Job Summary: Museum Development Midlands is seeking a motivated individual to provide exceptional visitor experiences at Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery. The successful candidate will work collaboratively as part of a team, offering directions, sharing knowledge of collections and exhibitions, and ensuring a wonderful experience.

The volunteer role takes place in two shifts: Monday - Saturday 9.45am - 1.00pm and 12.45pm - 4.00pm, and Sundays 10.45am - 1.30pm and 1.15pm - 4.00pm.

  • Help visitors enjoy their time at the museum
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Receive ongoing support and training

We are offering an estimated salary of £8.91 per hour (National Living Wage), reflecting the value we place on our volunteers.
