Job Title: Home Manager Assistant

About the Role:
As a key member of our management team, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Home Manager Assistant to assist with the day-to-day running of our care home. This role will involve managing Customer Experience elements, HR, Recruitment, Payroll, Finance, and supervising junior administrators.

Responsibilities:
  • Promote a warm and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Manage enquiries and showrounds of the home for prospective families, including maintaining the customer database to support commercial performance and conversion of enquiries for the home.
  • Contribute to driving occupancy and reputation of the Care Home as part of a community engagement team.
  • Support resident and family feedback with a focus on customer care.
  • Assist with recruitment of home staff, completing employment new starter checks and arranging inductions.
  • Prepare payroll for home-based staff.
  • Provide advice and guidance to employees on queries using available HR tools and resources.
  • Ensure secure storage of personal files.
  • Attend meetings and produce accurate notes and minutes where required.
  • Complete all rotas.
  • Manage safe contents, petty cash, and resident fund accounts.
  • Update training, supervisions, and appraisals on staff records.
  • Offer guidance on staff development opportunities, including signposting to Apprenticeships and qualifications.


Requirements:
  • Experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Previous involvement in HR administration and recruitment.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to prioritise.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • CIPD qualification would be beneficial.


Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
