Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Systems Designer to join our team. As an electrical designer, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative electrical systems and components that support the next of EV technology.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-performance electrical solutions that power the future of mobility. This includes creating and developing electrical designs, layouts, and schematics using industry-standard tools (AutoCAD, Revit).
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Design Development: Create and develop electrical designs, layouts, and schematics using industry-standard tools (AutoCAD, Revit).* Project Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure designs align with project requirements and deadlines.* Compliance: Ensure all designs meet UK and international electrical standards, including BS 7671 and other relevant regulations.* Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and specifications.* Site Support: Provide technical support during the installation, commissioning, and testing phases of projects.

Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or a related field.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit.
  • Strong understanding of EV electrical systems, circuits, and components.
  • Knowledge of Standards: Familiarity with UK regulations and standards, including BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and relevant building codes.
  • Experience: Previous experience in electrical design within construction, manufacturing, and renewable energy.
