About the Job

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Strategic Weapon Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin UK - Strategic Systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing engineering support for SSBN and shore-based SWS systems and equipment, as well as conducting Preventative and Corrective maintenance on Fire Control, Shipboard Data System, Launcher and Strategic Weapon Support System.

This role requires frequent travel across the UK, and the successful candidate must achieve the appropriate level (SC) of security clearance.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in Computer Aided Design (CAD) software
  • Familiarity with the Strategic Weapon System Maintenance Activity Control (SWSMAC) information technology system
  • Demonstrated IT skills to a competent level
  • Completed TEST Courses or equivalent training relating to section outputs
