Sales and Account Manager

The Role:
- Contact potential customers and present McMonagle Stone products to maximise sales.
- Negotiate terms with customers and complete sales.
- Process and manage sales orders directly from customers and Sales Executives.
- Lead and mentor the Depot sales team, ensuring they are motivated, trained, and achieving individual targets.
- Process quotation requests directly from customers, Estimators, and Sales staff ensuring they are completed in line with Department process requirements.
- Win new business by generating new leads and business relationships, this involves cold calls and calls to existing customers daily.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential customers via email and telephone.
- Deal competently with all incoming phone calls and emails from customers in a helpful and courteous manner while maintaining high levels of professionalism at all times.
- Assist with the administration for existing customers.
- Maintain the CRM system.
- Cooperate with management and other staff in a pleasant and professional manner to ensure efficient promotion and running of the business.
- Ensure and maintain utmost confidentiality of information.
- Other duties as required, within your capabilities and as requested by your Manager.
- Will be well-organised, systematic, and someone who enjoys the challenge of sales.
- Be a team player.
- Be enthusiastic, confident, and have a desire to succeed.
- Be persuasive and engaging.
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience of Sage software or similar ERP system is essential.
- Previous experience of working in an office.
- An ability to interpret drawings is advantageous.
