About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Aviation Project Manager to join our team at AmcoGiffen. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the daily management of various civil engineering projects in the Aviation sector associated with airside maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead successful contract delivery by ensuring the site team is fully apprised of the contract parameters and has the capability and resources necessary to achieve contract objectives.
  • Ensure the contract is executed in accordance with the requirements of all applicable legislation, the Terms and Conditions of the contract, the Contract Health and Safety Plan, and the Contract Quality/Environmental Plan.
  • Deliver the contract within programme and budget.
  • Control and manage subcontract resources to the highest levels of safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Monitor contract progress to ensure contract objectives are being met.
  • Identify business development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Project Manager working on Aviation, airside civil engineering infrastructure projects, maintenance, and frameworks.
  • Degree/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience and a proven track record of successful project delivery for a Main Contractor/sub-contractor on Airfield works as a Project Manager.
  • Practical experience of civil Aeronautical Ground Lighting (AGL).
  • Ability to obtain Airside pass in the form of Basic Disclosure Certificate.
  • DfT recognised General Security Awareness Training.
  • 5-year checkable work history.
  • Clean UK driving license.
