Education Support Specialist

We are seeking experienced individuals to support children in a classroom environment, working with schools across the UK to enhance the lives of children in and out of education.
As a Teaching Personnel educator, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated consultant to discuss your skills, preferences, and availability, and will be contacted for bookings and available vacancies in line with your preferences, skills, and availability.
Our educators are professional, proactive, and self-motivated, with a strong understanding of children's mental health, safeguarding, and behaviour management. We offer free courses, webinars, and information packs to support your learning and development in your career.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about ensuring every child is given equal opportunities to succeed, and who have a strong understanding of children's mental health, safeguarding, and behaviour management.
Key Responsibilities:- Support children in a classroom environment, working with teachers and other educators to enhance their learning and well-being.
- Assist children in processing difficult emotions and behaviours, and provide support to help them manage their mental health.
- Work with schools to develop and implement strategies to support children's education and well-being.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting children's education and well-being.
- Strong understanding of children's mental health, safeguarding, and behaviour management.
- Experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
We offer a competitive rate of pay, £12.90-£14.50 per hour, depending on specifics within the role and applicant experience. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'.
