Overview:


We are seeking a dedicated Children\u2019s Occupational Therapist to join our small, close-knit team founded by a passionate Paediatric Occupational Therapist.

This team is known for its family-like atmosphere and commitment to placing service users at the heart of their work.

Due to business growth and an expanding client base, we are looking to add a Children\u2019s Occupational Therapist to our team covering the North West of England.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage your own caseload, providing occupational therapy assessments and treatment for clients with various conditions such as cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, head injuries, spinal injuries, muscular dystrophy, developmental delay, DCD, autism, sensory processing difficulties, ADHD, and fine motor and perceptual difficulties.
  • Conduct specialist equipment and adaptation assessments and make necessary recommendations.
  • Utilize a dedicated clinic and office space in Manchester for appointments and administrative tasks.
  • Perform most assessments at the Manchester clinic, with occasional travel to clients\u2019 homes or schools as required (mileage will be covered).


Requirements:


  • HCPC Registered
  • Occupational Therapy Degree
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working with children with sensory needs
  • Sensory Integration Qualification (desirable)
  • Minimum of 4 years of paediatric and sensory experience
