Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Disability Assessor. As a Nurse Disability Assessor, you will play a vital role in assessing individuals with physical and/or mental health conditions to determine their eligibility for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit scheme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments with individuals to gather information about their health conditions and how they impact their daily life.
- Interpret medical evidence and gather findings into a comprehensive report to support the decision-making process by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely assessments.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure a high-quality service.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin registration.
- At least 1 year's broad post-registration experience, with UK experience being essential.
- Proactive, keen to learn, and receptive to feedback.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and have strong IT competency.
