We are seeking a skilled Housing Enforcement Specialist to join our team on a temporary basis. As a Housing Enforcement Specialist, you will be responsible for undertaking HHSRS inspections, gathering evidence for breaches of the Housing Act 2004, and taking action under the Housing Act 2004. You will also be required to have recent experience of inspecting properties and carrying out HHSRS assessments.

This is a 3-month contract role, with a mix of home working and on-site inspections in a picturesque area. If you have the necessary skills and experience, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking HHSRS inspections for single dwelling complaints
  • Gathering evidence for breaches of Housing Act 2004 for potential Civil Penalties and prosecutions
  • Carrying out HHSRS assessments and taking action under the Housing Act 2004

Requirements:

  • Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) qualified
  • Recent experience of inspecting properties and carrying out HHSRS assessments
