About the Role

This Music Educator role involves delivering engaging and innovative Music lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, fostering a love of music and nurturing students' musical talents. The successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues within the Music department and across the wider school community to create a dynamic and enriching learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and deliver inspiring Music lessons in line with the national curriculum and school's educational philosophy.
  2. Employ a range of teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  3. Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Music curriculum.
  4. Participate in extracurricular music activities, such as ensembles, concerts, and productions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Teaching Music to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
  • Developing and implementing engaging Music lessons
  • Assessing student progress and providing feedback

Qualifications and Experience
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification in Music.
  2. Proven experience teaching Music at the secondary level.
  3. A strong understanding of the national curriculum for Music.

Estimated salary: £38,000 - £55,000 per annum.
