Job Title: Ward Manager - RMN/RNLD

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ward Manager to lead our male rehabilitation ward. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing person-centred care and treatment to patients with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the multidisciplinary team in providing high-quality care and treatment to patients
  • Ensure compliance with mental health legislation and safeguarding guidelines
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the ward, including staffing, budgeting, and resources
  • Provide clinical supervision, support, and mentoring to staff to enhance their professional development
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with RMN or RNLD qualification
  • Valid UK NMC Pin
  • Proven experience in mental health rehabilitation and working with patients with enduring mental illness and personality disorders
  • Strong understanding of mental health legislation and its application in clinical practice
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
