Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team at CrossReach, a leading social care provider in Scotland. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving nutritious meals to our service users, while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare varied menus, catering to special dietary requirements
  • Manage food stock, order supplies, and oversee meal preparation and serving
  • Engage service users in food preparation activities and supervise other catering staff
  • Work weekends, Saturdays, and Sundays, with possible additional hours to cover holidays
Requirements
  • Elementary Food Handling Certificate
  • Previous catering experience
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Respect for Christian worship and membership in the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme
