Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Specialist to join our team at Thera Trust. As a Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with a learning disability in their daily lives.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is £11.70 per hour, which translates to an annual salary of approximately £24,115 based on full-time hours. Our competitive benefits package includes:

Your primary responsibility as a Care Support Specialist will be to provide personal and emotional support to individuals with a learning disability, empowering them to achieve their goals and ambitions.
You will also be required to help individuals develop new skills, plan and manage their own home, support with leisure, employment, individual interests, and travel.
This role requires a high level of motivation, self-starter qualities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to creatively solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
RequirementsTo succeed as a Care Support Specialist, you should have:
- No previous experience or qualifications required, Free Skills for Care endorsed full training will be provided
- Compassionate, caring, confident and resilient
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Confident, articulate, and professional
- Keenness to learn in a fast-paced environment and creatively solve problems
