As a key member of the team, you will work with children and families who are experiencing challenges related to complex neglect, sexual harm, physical harm, and parental learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with children and families to identify strengths and tackle problems
  • Undertake direct work with children and young people to hear their voice and understand their experiences
  • Collaborate with parents and the wider family network to support them in making positive changes
  • Contribute to Family Group Conferencing to empower families to make and sustain changes
Requirements:
  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
  • Experience working with children and families in social work, within a Local Authority team
  • Experience of work within family courts is essential
  • Passionate about relationship-based social work and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of children and families
