Locum Sonographer Opportunity

Job Summary: Hunter AHP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sonographer to join our team on a full-time locum basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality ultrasound imaging services to patients in a NHS hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general ultrasound examinations, including obstetric ultrasound, and other specialized procedures such as testes, groins, pregnancy, and vascular procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of expertise in ultrasound imaging techniques and technologies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of ultrasound imaging protocols and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the DQASS (Diagnostic and Quality Assurance Standards for Sonography) is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience in ultrasound imaging in various fields, including obstetric ultrasound, testes, groins, pregnancy, and vascular procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
