Senior Fashion Merchandising Coordinator

As a key member of our merchandising team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and ensuring the success of our products. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the development of our product lines, including range building, critical path management, and supplier communication.

• You will contribute to range build meetings, reviewing best-sellers and providing insights to improve our product offerings.
• Send weekly chasing emails to suppliers for orders raised and samples outstanding, supporting the Buyer in managing the department's critical path.
• Attend weekly fit sessions, suggesting improvements to reduce returns rates and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Update delivery schedules and XF dates on Zedonk, presenting updates to the wider teams.
• Manage and update the CP calendar on PLM, ensuring seamless communication between departments.
• Review repeats with the Merchandising team, flagging any cost price increases for repeats to the Buyer.
• Negotiate cost price reductions with factories where required, as per the manual.
• Check packing lists for -/+5% tolerance before shipment or payment, sending approved lists to the Merchandiser where necessary.
• Send invoices and balance payments to finance for analysis and respond to any queries from the team.
• Attend calls and communicate with suppliers regularly as the point of contact.
• Conduct competitive shopping analysis, preparing retail and pricing strategies.
• Support with supplier performance management.
• Manage and chase suppliers for samples ahead of product meeting deadlines.
• Support with PO raising – continuity, repeats, and new collections.
• Manage online schedule documents and samples for e-commerce shoots alongside the Marketing team.
• Analyse weekly sales reports to present in trade meetings, recommending trading actions and product opportunities alongside the Merchandising team.

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Buyer who can influence and communicate effectively at all levels. You should have a keen interest in fashion and trends, analytical and commercial skills, and strong negotiation abilities.
