Sustainability Coordinator Opportunity

BUILDING ADHESIVES LTD is seeking a highly motivated Sustainability Coordinator to support our UK Procurement and Contracts Manager in delivering our sustainability aspirations. This part-time role will involve working collaboratively with sustainability champions across our UK sites and the wider organisation to drive initiatives, collate and report data, and ensure progress towards our sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Data Management: Coordinate data collection across all sites to ensure timely and accurate reporting
  2. Initiatives and Reporting: Support sustainability improvement initiatives and maintain roadmaps, databases, and reports for internal and external stakeholders
  3. Auditing and Analysis: Conduct internal environmental audits and contribute to developing sustainability tools and dashboards
  4. Standards and Compliance: Assist with reporting frameworks such as EPR and ISO 14064:2018 and help maintain our integrated management system with a focus on CO2 emissions reporting
  5. Communication and Support: Engage with sites to ensure alignment with targets and objectives, advise on improvement opportunities, and assist with ESG policy development
About You

We're looking for someone who combines a strong analytical mindset with a genuine passion for sustainability. You'll have:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a good understanding of data analysis and visualisation tools
  • Knowledge of sustainability metrics and methodologies, such as carbon foot printing and life cycle assessment
  • A proactive attitude and excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
