About the Role

MWH Treatment is seeking a highly skilled Principal Civil Engineer to join our Engineering team in the Essex & Suffolk region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions for water and wastewater schemes, working closely with our Regional Discipline Lead - Civil and Senior Design Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop cost-effective design layouts that meet project specifications and can be constructed and commissioned effectively.
  • Ensure standard practices are utilised wherever possible, maintaining competitiveness and providing estimates and feedback for the Proposals department.
  • Work to procedures and processes to ensure the continuing development of the department, assisting in developing and monitoring efficient procedures.
  • Coordinate designs with all other disciplines internal and external to MWH Treatment to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Maintain files and records throughout the duration of contracts, ensuring customer satisfaction and a safe working environment for all staff.
  • Reduce waste to a minimum from all departmental activities and ensure designs take account of environmental issues and health and safety requirements.
