Senior WordPress Developer

Basingstoke – Hybrid Working

£37,000 + Bonus + Full benefits

This is a fantastic opportunity for you, an experienced WordPress Developer / Web Designer / Creator, to join a leading IT recruitment agency, 100% IT Recruitment Ltd.

As the Senior WordPress Developer / Web Designer/Creator, you will design, create, and maintain visually engaging and functional websites and web pages. You will ensure that the websites align with the company brand identity and meet the needs of the users. Your role will involve design and front-end development tasks, providing a seamless user experience across all devices.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior WordPress Developer, you will design, create, and maintain visually engaging and functional websites and web pages. Your role will involve design and front-end development tasks, providing a seamless user experience across all devices.

Design, Develop, and Maintain:

Design, develop, and maintain visually appealing and responsive WordPress websites.

Create and implement WordPress themes and plugins.

Ensure WordPress site content aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.

Implement and refine website designs.

Customise and enhance WordPress themes and plugins.

Optimise WordPress sites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices.

Conduct regular updates, backups, and maintenance of WordPress sites to ensure security and functionality.

Requirements:

To be successful in your application, you must have strong experience – at least 3 years in WordPress Developer / Web Design will skills and experience as follows:

Creation of commercial websites using WordPress.

Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.

Excellent visual design skills with a strong portfolio of previous work.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.

Ability to work independently with strong time management.

Any skills with front-end frameworks such as bootstrap or foundation would be extremely useful as would PHP, Python or Ruby.
