About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Manager to join our Eastern and Midlands team based in Witham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and integrating the activities of our external design consultants to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the design process during the pre-construction and construction phases, ensuring that all activities are aligned with programme timescales and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to produce a Contractor's Proposal document.
  • Drive innovative and cost-effective design solutions, progressing design issues within strict timescales and ensuring designers meet information delivery dates.
Requirements
  • Experience in delivering high-value, complex design work from the main contractor perspective.
  • Understanding of Building Regulations and Planning Permission procedures.
  • Experience of site/contract procedures would be an advantage.
