About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and personable Maintenance Operative to join our team at Runwood Homes. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing regular maintenance tasks at our care home, including basic plumbing and decorating.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of the care home
  • Carrying out scheduled checks throughout the home to identify potential issues
  • Working independently to resolve minor repairs and general maintenance tasks

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in carpentry, plumbing, or decorating is desirable
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Familiarity with health and safety protocols and regulations
