Responsibilities
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality food and service, aligning with Absolute Taste's expectations.
  • Manage financial controls, compliance, and operational excellence across all catering functions at Burghley House.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely project delivery.
  • Maintain and build strong relationships with clients and customers, exceeding their expectations.
  • Lead and manage our exceptional team at Burghley House, including full-time and casual staff.
  • Liaise with F&B parties, consulting on storage, stock control, power, and staffing requirements.
  • Ensure quality and consistency, adhering to company guidelines.
  • Implement and exercise company Food Safety and Health and Safety policies.
  • Manage staffing rotas, hours, holidays, lieu days, and cover using the Fourth hospitality system.
  • Control and minimize site-specific associated costs without compromising business or service.
Requirements
  • Possess passion for great food and service with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Show creativity and be inspired by market trends.
  • Demonstrate ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills, leading by example.
  • Be financially competent.
  • Have experience as an event professional in a similar leadership role.
