Asset Planning Specialist

This is a permanent and full-time role with a reputable developer.
About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Asset Planning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with land agents and owners, conducting technical appraisals of sites, and providing information to update development programmes.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with land agents and owners to identify suitable development sites.
- Conduct technical appraisals of sites to determine their feasibility for development.
- Provide information to update development programmes and ensure they are aligned with business objectives.
- Liaise with technical, build, commercial, and sales departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Prepare site profitability statements, including development programmes, sales market research, and acquisition build budgets.
- Monitor Local Authority Planning Application registers and make contact with owners where necessary.
- Monitor Local Authority Local Plan processes to identify possible development opportunities and make initial contact with landowners.
- Obtain service information and quotations as required.
- Assist in the preparation of bids with other land team members.
- Assist other land team members with the collation of exchange packs, including sourcing relevant content.
- Keep up to date with work requirements and attend Company meetings as necessary.
- Comply with Company control regulation systems and conduct yourself in a manner that will not jeopardise or adversely affect the Company's operations.
- Proven experience in a similar role with a residential and/or commercial developer.
- Land, Planning, Law, or similar qualification.
- MRTPI or MRICS qualification ideal.
- Knowledge of the development industry.
- Personable and able to build strong working relationships.
- Clear and concise communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
An attractive salary of £33,000 - £40,000pa, strong benefits package including £4,500 car allowance, and the opportunity to work with an established and experienced developer who will help you achieve your career objectives.
