Job Title: SEN Tutor - Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a SEN Tutor, you will provide one-to-one support to students with special educational needs, helping them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver tailored lesson plans to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Assess student progress, identify areas for improvement, and record attainment levels.
  • Deliver engaging sessions that support various learning styles.
  • Collaborate with educational and care stakeholders to ensure student support.

Requirements:

  • Experience in tutoring one-to-one or small groups needing additional educational or pastoral support.
  • Constructive supervision and correction experience.
  • Experience in inclusion units, special settings, or alternative provisions.
  • Inspirational and effective communication skills.
  • Competent IT skills, with access to a laptop/computer, audio, and visual equipment.
