Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at Black Cat Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of mechanical installation, maintenance, reactive and PPM works, in accordance with current regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing planned preventive maintenance (PPM) tasks and addressing reactive maintenance issues related to commercial gas systems, unvented plumbing systems, and appliances.
  • Responding promptly to service calls and efficiently resolving issues to minimize operational downtime.
  • Conducting thorough inspections, identifying faults, and executing repairs to ensure adherence to safety regulations.
  • Installing, commissioning, and decommissioning commercial gas equipment as necessary.
  • Ensuring the timely completion of accurate documentation and reports.
  • Collaborating with team members and clients to deliver high-quality service and effective solutions.
  • Executing installation, maintenance, and reactive tasks related to plumbing, encompassing central heating systems, water and waste pipes, toilets, and commercial plumbed-in appliances.
  • Undertaking general maintenance duties as specified by the Client/Company.
  • Being mindful of the budgetary and commercial implications associated with the work.
Requirements:
  • Able to test own Gas installation/maintenance works
  • C&G Level 3 Plumbing qualification (or equivalent)
  • Valid Commercial Certification (in accordance with Gas safe regulations/standards)
  • IPAF
  • F-Gas qualification (desirable)
  • Commercial Gas certification
  • Driving Licence (Full UK)
