We are seeking a motivated Psychology Graduate to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School in the West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN).

Responsibilities

  • Assist and support the development and learning of students within the school.">
  • Provide 1:1 and general support to students according to requirements for the day.">
  • Work alongside other teaching and support staff to ensure a safe and productive work environment is maintained.">
  • Be responsible for ensuring school policies are upheld, including behaviour policies.">

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a patient and understanding approach, an interest in working with students with SEND, and be flexible in their approach. An existing DBS check on the update service is required, and existing experience working with children or adults with SEND is advantageous but not essential.
