Job Description

The successful applicant will be responsible for leading the Cardiology Service, ensuring efficient management of capacity and demand, and addressing patient concerns. They will also participate in providing a range of cardiac procedures in the outpatient setting and handle consultant inquiries.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have expertise in conducting and reporting outpatient echo clinics, as well as proficiency in non-invasive investigations. Proficiency in other skills such as stress echocardiography and pacemaker follow-ups is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily management of the Cardiology Service, including capacity and demand management
  • Supporting non-clinical staff in appointment scheduling and stock management
  • Handling consultant inquiries and collaborating with clinical team members
  • Participating in a full range of cardiac procedures in the outpatient setting
