Job Summary

About the Role

This is a unique chance to make a meaningful impact on a child's life, working as part of a collaborative team to ensure their social, emotional, and mental health needs are met. Your expertise in supporting students with SEMH and SEN will be invaluable in helping this pupil thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting a student with SEMH and SEN needs on a one-to-one basis
  • Developing and implementing strategies to manage challenging behaviors
  • Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience working with students with SEMH or SEN
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral challenges and strategies for management
  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach to supporting vulnerable pupils
  • An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service (or willingness to undergo a new disclosure)
