Key Responsibilities
  • Full accountability for delivering all project activities across customer sites.
  • Delivery of the annual budget relating to project services.
  • To lead and manage residential electrical contract teams, ensuring projects and works meet time, cost, and quality requirements.
  • Identify and deliver organic growth across residential sites while prospecting new opportunities.
  • Oversee preparation of cost estimates, bids, and quotations for work packages.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of residential electricians, project managers, and contractors.
  • Allocate resources effectively and ensure teams meet project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring client requirements are met.
  • Ensure all works comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Monitor and enforce quality control, ensuring electrical systems are installed and tested to specification.
  • Provide regular reports on project status, financials, and issues affecting timelines or costs.
Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong financial acumen, experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing and delegating tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
  • Relevant certifications or licenses in electrical contracting (e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP)) are a plus.
  • A proven track record of leading and developing engineering or technical teams.
