CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team in a commercial estate near Greenwich, London.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a mechanically qualified individual with experience in commercial building maintenance to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team on site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain mechanical plant, including pumps, motors, seals, and bearings
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on air conditioning systems, including air handling units and fan coil units
  • Conduct water treatment checks and ensure proper dosing
  • Carry out plumbing tasks, including unblocking toilets and replacing taps and washers
  • Monitor BMS systems and perform basic electrical duties
  • Assist with general building fabric maintenance and escort specialist subcontractors
Requirements:
  • Mechanically qualified level 2 (C&G, NVQ, etc.)
  • Experience working in a large commercial building
  • Ability to provide copies of trade certificates
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled and able to work independently
  • Excellent communication and customer skills
