About the Role

Pick for Britain is seeking an experienced Asylum Seeker Advocate to join our team. This role involves working closely with Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children and young people, providing them with essential support and guidance throughout the integration process.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Receiving UASC young people into care and conducting thorough assessments of their needs.
  2. Supporting UASC young people to access education, employment, and other essential services.
  3. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with young people, families, and stakeholders to promote positive outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Social Work (Dip SW or equivalent), be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
