At eXPD8, we're seeking a skilled Retail Merchandiser to join our field-based retail merchandising team. As a key member of our team, you'll work with high street retailers on behalf of iconic brands, ensuring that products and promotions are displayed attractively and effectively.

This role involves setting up fixtures, arranging products on shelves, and implementing planograms to maintain consistency and compliance with merchandising standards. You'll also be responsible for promoting and setting up point-of-sale displays, as well as communicating with in-store colleagues and providing feedback to our client account teams.

To succeed in this role, you'll need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and take ownership of your tasks. You'll also need to be comfortable with manual handling and be willing to accept home deliveries of point-of-sale or stock items for some visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure adherence to merchandising standards, store policies, and health and safety guidelines.
  • Product Placement and Replenishment: Arrange and organize products on shelves and displays to maximize visibility and appeal.
  • Promotional and Point of Sale Setup: Set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
  • Strong Communication and Relationship Building: Build and maintain good working relationships with in-store colleagues and provide accurate and timely feedback to our client account teams.

Requirements:

  • Experience of merchandising, retail, and/or customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
  • Comfortable with manual handling and willing to accept home deliveries.
  • Confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos, and answer questions.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a car is a bonus.
