Are you a skilled tradesperson looking for a challenging and rewarding role? We are currently seeking an experienced Tool Fitter and Equipment Coordinator to join our team at Group Support Services.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about tool maintenance and equipment preparation. As a Tool Fitter and Equipment Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is in good working order, prepared for hire, and properly maintained.

With excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor, you will work closely with customers to resolve any issues and provide exceptional customer service. You will also be required to maintain accurate records, complete paperwork efficiently, and work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and prepare equipment for hire, including PAT testing where necessary
  • Ensure that all equipment is properly stored and secured
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any issues promptly and efficiently
  • Complete accurate and timely paperwork, maintaining high levels of data integrity
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role or trade industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work well under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
  • Familiarity with PAT testing and equipment maintenance procedures
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software systems

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as:
