About the Role

As a Senior Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for promoting best practice, contributing to quality improvements, and delivering exceptional patient care. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' health and well-being, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues, patients, and families.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patients receive holistic support throughout their stay.
  • Maintain accurate records, adhering to regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve seamless transitions of care, minimizing disruptions and maximizing patient outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, staying up-to-date with industry developments, and sharing knowledge with peers.

Your Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • NMC registration (no restrictions or conditions)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage competing demands
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Surgical ward experience (essential)
