Nurse Functional Assessor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Functional Assessor. In this role, you will use your clinical expertise to conduct assessments and produce reports to support benefit claims.

About the Role

As a Nurse Functional Assessor, you will work with customers to understand how their disability or health condition affects their daily life. You will conduct telephone, video or face-to-face assessments and produce detailed reports to support benefit claims.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and gather information about customers' health conditions and disabilities
  • Produce accurate and comprehensive reports to support benefit claims
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality assessments

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid NMC registration number
  • At least 1 year of broad post-registration adult or mental health experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
