Main Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for supervising a team of administrative staff, providing training and guidance where necessary. They will also be responsible for ensuring that all clinic and treatment appointments are updated on the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system, and for investigating any outlying performance. Additionally, the post holder will be responsible for updating the pathway on the Screening Programme's Patient Administration System (OptoMize) to reflect the Health Episode Statistics (HES) event.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • GCSE English and Mathematics, at grade C/4 or above or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • OCR II or equivalent in Word Processing/typing or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • British Association of Retinal Screeners Administration Certificate.
