Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team in East Yorkshire. As an Assistant Site Manager, you will play a key role in the management of a construction development site, ensuring the provision of safe, efficient, and cost-effective works at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Site Manager in the day-to-day running of the development, providing clear direction to site staff regarding their responsibilities and targets.
- Assist with the implementation of health and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Motivate, support, and manage directly employed site staff, providing training, coaching, and support to improve performance.
- Ensure site presentation is maintained at the correct standard, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Support the Site Manager in delivering production requirements in accordance with technical and planning documentation.
- Conform to building regulations and warranty providers' requirements, ensuring accurate site records are maintained.
- Inspect and ensure remedial work is completed in advance of key stage inspections.
Requirements:
- Experience of working as an Assistant Site Manager with a high-volume residential house builder.
- Effective team management experience.
- Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety and building legislation.
- CSCS card.
- SMSTS certificate.
- First Aid certificate.
- Construction Management – HNC Level 4, HND.
- Valid Scaffold Appreciation certificate (desirable).
