About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Floor Manager to join our team at River Island. As a key member of our retail leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales and customer experience across our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales and Customer Engagement
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer engagement through excellent customer service and product knowledge.
    • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Lead and Develop a Team
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates and floor staff.
    • Provide coaching and feedback to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Visual Merchandising and Store Standards
    • Oversee the visual merchandising and store standards to ensure a consistent and appealing customer experience.
    • Work with the visual merchandising team to create and implement in-store displays and promotions.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Ensure the store is operating efficiently and effectively, with a focus on customer service and sales.
    • Monitor and manage store expenses, including labor, inventory, and supplies.
Requirements
  • Experience and Skills
    • Previous experience as a Floor Manager or in a similar retail leadership role.
    • Excellent customer service and sales skills, with a proven track record of driving sales and customer engagement.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coach and develop a high-performing team.
    • Ability to analyze sales data and make informed business decisions.
  • Education and Certifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
    • Relevant certifications, such as a retail management certification, may be beneficial.
