At our Wisbech site, we have a team of 450 colleagues working together to manufacture premium chilled ready-to-cook meals for major retailers like Asda and Co-op.
What You'll Be Doing
Team Leader - Nights - Monday-Friday 19:00pm-03:00am at £14.32 per hour
As a Team Leader, you will oversee the management, organization, and control of all activities within your section of the factory. You will assign and organize staff, manage productivity and performance, and ensure the achievement of required service levels and performance results.
- You will conduct daily walk-throughs of the production area, ensuring a smooth handover from the previous shift and maintaining optimal labor levels.
- Complete Return to Work interviews, attend daily review meetings, and team briefings to ensure open communication.
- Constructively challenge performance in areas such as quality, throughput rate, and crew size.
- Effectively audit daily technical paperwork to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist the First Line Coordinator in DWOR completion and attend daily taste panels as required.
- Document handovers and follow through on any actions to ensure seamless operations.
