Care Support Specialist

Pay rate: £11.55 per hour + £45 per sleep in
Full Time position: 37.5 hours
Full UK or EU driving license is essential for this role
Dimensions is proud to offer a unique opportunity for a Care Support Specialist to join our team. As a Care Support Specialist, you will be supporting up to six adults per day who have learning disabilities, autism, and complex health needs within our respite home.
We provide all training for any complex care - stoma bag, PEG feeding, and epilepsy. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, supporting individuals with their day-to-day needs, including personal care, medication, budgeting, and domestic tasks.
Shifts: 7:00-14:30 / 14:30-22:00pm + sleep in. Must be able to work weekends. No lone working
What will I be doing?
- Supporting with personal care, medication, budgeting and domestic tasks such as cleaning, and laundry
- Encouraging active lifestyle: exercising and healthy meal choices/cooking
- Supporting people with their day-to-day travel arrangements and health appointments, various activities
- Taking time to listen and provide emotional support while enjoying a cup of tea
