Müller UK & Ireland is a leading dairy company with a presence throughout Europe. In the UK, we develop, manufacture, and market a wide range of branded and private label dairy products made with milk from 1,300 farmers in Britain.

Our Müller Milk & Ingredients business is responsible for producing fresh milk, cream, butter, and ingredients products. We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our Chill Department at Manchester Dairy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for manually packing product into trolleys, ensuring the product is fit for purpose and highlighting any non-conformance. They will also transport full and empty trolleys across the chill, operate and complete asset care/deep cleaning on equipment, and ensure good manufacturing, housekeeping, hygiene, and health and safety standards throughout their shift.

The ideal candidate will have previous manual packing work experience, preferably using a voice picking system such as Zetes & as400. They will also possess strong teamwork and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to adapt to changing daily production plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Manually pack product into trolleys
  • Transport full and empty trolleys across the chill
  • Operate and complete asset care/deep cleaning on equipment
  • Ensure good manufacturing, housekeeping, hygiene, and health and safety standards
  • Complete all documentation
  • Operate trolley wash and ensure adequate trolley supply
  • Lead by example and encourage appropriate behavioural safety and technical standards

Requirements:

  • Previous manual packing work experience
