ASD Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ASD Tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As an ASD Tutor, you will work with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a one-to-one setting, providing support and guidance to help them reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging and nurturing lessons to children with ASD, tailored to their individual needs and learning styles.
- Develop and implement sensory sessions to promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Manage challenging behavior and provide positive reinforcement techniques to encourage positive behavior.
- Collaborate with parents and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support plan for each child.
- Experience working with children with ASD or similar special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons, with a focus on promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Knowledge of autism-friendly strategies and techniques, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- A competitive hourly rate of £20-£25.
