Maintenance Engineer - Tring - Mechanical and Electrical Engineering

Pertemps Aylesbury is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team based in Tring.

The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Engineer is to ensure the optimal functioning of all plant equipment and building facilities, adhering to statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks
  • Conduct insurance inspections of the plant in all units
  • Collaborate with the Quality Department on COSHH responsibilities
  • Manage site services and building services
  • Oversee the maintenance of buildings and heating systems
  • Responsible for plant development, control, maintenance, and services
  • Perform routine plant servicing (air, water, steam, and testing)
  • Manage water treatment of plant and facilities

Requirements:

  • Formal engineering qualifications (BTEC or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Maths and English GCSE Grade C or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • Experience in mechanical and electrical engineering
  • Experience in completing preventative maintenance tasks
  • Working within a strong H&S culture
