Funeral Services Coordinator

**About the Role:**
We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate Funeral Administrator to join our team at Peasgood & Skeates. As a Funeral Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting clients through the funeral arranging process, advising on options and funeral types, and liaising with stakeholders to deliver funerals in line with client instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support clients through the funeral arranging process, providing guidance and advice on available options and funeral types.
- Liaise with all stakeholders, including families, funeral directors, and other service providers, to deliver funerals in line with client instructions.
- Process funeral paperwork, maintain company funeral records, and ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Accompany families into the Chapel of Rest, providing support and guidance as needed.
Requirements:
- Compassionate nature with strong demonstrable customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Keen attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and complete tasks efficiently.
- Ability to deliver high levels of customer service, with a focus on meeting client needs and expectations.
- Previous proven administrative experience, with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Publisher, Outlook, etc.).
- A high standard of written English, with the ability to communicate effectively in writing.
- Flexible approach to working hours, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to multi-task, with good time management skills to achieve daily tasks on schedule.
- Previous experience within the funeral profession is desirable, but not essential. We offer full training to the right candidate.
